Manchester based SEO company FirstFound have launched Optimise, an online SEO magazine that provides practical advice about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Google AdWords Pay-per-click (PPC) and other online marketing tactics. The online publication also takes a slightly humorous behind-the-scenes look at the lives of some of the FirstFound staff, with each edition featuring FirstFound client case studies.

There are all sorts of SEO sites available to advise you on your quest for visibility, all aimed at people with different levels of Internet expertise. Optimise aims to cut through the baffling technical jargon to offer straight forward practical advice that will be suitable for everyone.

The Autumn edition – released last week – features articles about domain names, the role of copywriting in SEO and black hat SEO techniques that should be avoided. I’m particularly glad to see more people writing about the black hat aspects of SEO, which is an area the novice can easily stray into without even realising!

So far the Manchester SEO company FirstFound have given us in intimate look at how they have helped the fortunes of several businesses including Russams GSM, Bump and Baby, Motorsport Developments, Fossil Farm, Courier Logistics, Aiden Kent and Task Development.

With SEO playing an increasingly important role on the Web all the time, search engines are getting particularly smart. Optimise makes the walk through this technological minefield of SEO just that little bit easier!
